Working closely for the first time with the award-winning Norwegian designer, Hallgeir Homstvedt; Grid takes its inspiration from how a much-loved everyday object can be continuously reinvented by using new materials and patterns.

Designed with real homes in mind, Grid is available in two convenient sizes and three colour combinations: Matcha Lemon, Lime Candycane and Chocolate Strawberry.

Acclaimed both nationally and internationally, Oslo-based Hallgeir Homstvedt has a remarkable portfolio of work spanning furniture, interior and product design.

Highly experienced, Hallgeir opened his own studio in 2009 after completing his BA of Industrial Design with honours at Newcastle University in Australia and working for the pioneering Norway Says.

Making products that are tactile, interactive and engaging, Hallgeir has exhibited his work around the world as well as received a number of awards including Bo Bedre’s Designer of the Year for 2022.

Made from environmentally responsible 100% PET and backed with non-slip rubber, Grid provides excellent adsorption, effortlessly trapping dirt and moisture into the pile, ensuring the floor underneath always stays dry.

• The mat is highly durable and has excellent absorption and dirt-trapping properties
• The mat is approximately 7 mm thick
• The mat’s textile is made from 100% recycled plastic. The backing is made from non-slip nitrile rubber
• The manufacturing process behind a Heymat involves numerous manual operations. This means that the mats may vary slightly in size, colour and appearance

Vacuum the mat regularly.
When necessary, mats can be washed in the washing machine at 60 degrees. Use a bleach-free detergent and vacuum the mat before washing. Dry the mat in the tumble dryer or hang up to dry. You can extend the life of your mat by regularly machine washing; we recommend that you do this 2–4 times a year.
